Creative textile workshop out of a mini loom

Explore the art of weaving with a mini loom

If you want to get started in the world of looms, this workshop is for you! Reserve your place for a workshop in 2025.

What will you learn?

♦️ You will discover different types of looms, tools and basic terminology.

♦️ You will learn how to put the warp, that is, the skeleton of the fabric.

♦️ You will practice the basic ligaments for the weft.

♦️ You will design and create your own textile piece.

♦️ You will be able to reproduce one of the sample designs.

♦️ You will use local materials, from transhumance or from recovered stocks.  

*You will get a wooden frame, with a pin and a wool needle, to continue practicing and exploring at home*. With them you can create endless mini tapestries, textile jewelry, coasters and much more!

What do you need to bring to do the workshop? Small scissors.

Workshop details

♦️ Level: Beginner (no previous experience necessary)

♦️ Duration: 4 hours Morning: from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

♦️ Grups: Minimum 3 people - Maximum 6 (older than 12 years old)

♦️ Taught by: Olga Solà i Viñas
