Hello! Visit Empordanet is back, the joint tourist campaign of five municipalities in the Baix Empordà
This morning, companies and organizations affiliated to the initiative "Hola! Visit Empordanet" have met in Plaça de la Torre de Cruïlles to kick off the new joint tourism promotion campaign of the municipalities of La Bisbal d'Empordà, Forallac, Cruïlles, Monells and Sant Sadurní de l'Heura , Corçà and Ullastret.
The campaign has been possible, on the one hand, thanks to the consensus capacity of five councils to achieve a common objective of economic dynamism of the environment, understood as a single territorial area and, on the other hand, the will of companies and entities in the territory to offer activities aimed at tourists throughout the year to contribute to the deseasonalization of tourism in the summer.
The campaign aims to be a reflection of the commitment to a responsible tourism model, which generates respect between tourists and the local population and which contributes to the conservation of the natural and cultural heritage and the business fabric of the destination. For this reason, it proposes activities that allow visitors to discover the landscape, the towns, the gastronomy and the crafts of the territory where they travel, sharing privileged moments with their local population.
Apart from the website www.visitempordanet.cat and social networks, one of the communicative elements of the campaign is a magazine-type and multilingual guide. New this year is the edition of a tourist map of the five municipalities showing walking and cycling routes as well as information on the more than 45 establishments that have joined the campaign, including accommodation, restaurants and companies that offer tourism-related activities.
This action is part of the strategic local economic development plan that includes the municipalities of Bisbal d'Empordà, Forallac, Cruïlles, Monells and Sant Sadurní de l'Heura, Corçà and Ullastret. One of its lines of work is tourism.
