Visit Empordanet, finalist in the 2017 Tourism Awards
As part of the International Tourism Forum – FITCat17, the general director of Tourism, Octavi Bono, accompanied by the director of the Catalan Tourism Agency, Xavier Espasa, presented the 2017 Catalan Tourism Awards.
With these Awards, the Generalitat recognizes every year the work of the Catalan tourism sector and its contribution to making Catalonia a reference tourist destination on an international scale.
The Jury, formed by the members of the Council of the Tourism Board, has determined that this year's awardees are: the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of la Garrotxa, the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Girona, ALS for the "Palau Moja . The Catalan Heritage House” and Naturalwalks.
Visit Empordanet (La Bisbal d'Empordà; Forallac; Cruïlles, Monells and Sant Sadurní de l'Heura; Corçà; and Ullastret, Girona) has been a finalist in the "Innovation in promotional actions and marketing" category.
