The Indiano past of the town of Corçà

In the small mediaeval village of Corçà, stones from their homes tell us about its history. The inscriptions on the doors indicate families and jobs of its inhabitants to s. XVIII.

Corçà shows its long mediaeval past in its streets and houses, but it also has a notable Indiano past.

Here you will be able to go inside Villa Luz, a wonderful private Indiano house, which bears witness to the Cuban adventure of the 19th century, when several people from this town went to Cuba to make their fortune, known as Indianos. Its colonial style is not only reflected in the rooms, but also in the splendid garden.

An unforgettable trip around the house of a family who went to Cuba and later returned to Corçà.
